Meowgical Web (“Meowgical”, “we”, “us”) designs and builds websites for pet businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and while working with clients, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only ask for what we need to reply to you and do good work.
- Enquiries. Your name, email address and message, plus the topic, budget and timeline you choose, when you use our contact form or email us.
- Referrals. Your name and email address, and your friend’s name, business, contact details and website. Please only refer someone who would be happy to hear from us.
- Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe.
- Call bookings. Your name, email address and chosen time, collected for us by Calendly when you book a call.
- Project details. Content, images, account access and anything else you share with us while we build or look after your site.
- Site usage. Pages viewed, time on the site, device, browser and approximate location, collected by Google Analytics through cookies. Our Cookie Policy has the details.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or referral.
- To plan, build and support your website.
- To send quotes and invoices, and keep the business records the law asks of us.
- To send our newsletter, if you asked for it. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.
- To see which pages help visitors and which don’t, so we can improve the site.
We don’t sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the services that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:
- Our website host, which stores the site and the messages sent through it.
- Our email provider.
- Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used.
- Calendly, which handles call bookings.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and referrals while we’re talking with you, and for a reasonable time after in case you come back to us. Client records are kept for as long as we work together, then for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Keeping it safe
We use secure connections, keep our software up to date and limit who can see your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don’t send passwords or payment details through our forms. When a project needs account access, we’ll arrange a safer way to share it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Delete your information, unless the law says we have to keep it.
- Stop sending you emails.

Children
This site is for businesses and isn’t aimed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us their details, let us know and we’ll delete them.
Other websites
We link to other websites, such as Calendly and our social media pages. They have their own privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for how they handle your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
